안녕하세요.
날이 많이 추워졌죠? 감기 조심하세요~~~
이해할 수 없는 MILL CERTI`를 한장 받아서
궁금증을 풀고자 글 남김니다.
제조국은 대만인데요.
PRODUCT명은 `HOT ROLLED STAINLESS STEEL PLATE` 인데
SPEC`/GRADE 에는 `TO ASTM A240-07 TP304 NO.1 FINISH, SLIT EDGE`
라고 표기되어 있습니다.
이 MILL CERTI`가 TP304 인것으로 보아 파이프로 최종 제작된것이
아닌가 생각이 드는데
제품 사이즈에는 50T x ... x ... 으로 철판의 사이즈를
하고 있습니다.
TP <-- 요 말이 관형 제품을 뜻하는것으로 알고 있는 저라...
명쾌한 설명 좀 부탁드립니다.
추가로 A240-07 에서 07은 무엇을 뜻하는 것이지...

Most flare systems (other than in natural gas treatment plants or offshore-MR0175) with H2S (or total sulfide) and free water per the definition of NACE standard (see MR0103-2007, para. 1.3.5) are applied to NACE MR0103 and User’s specification. The most critical issue may be the wet condition (acidic and/or wet sour) during operation because the system is normally operating in dry condition. The condition which has more than 0.05 psia H2S partial pressure without free water is not considered as a wet sour service. It means the H2S gas (as a partial pressure) requires free water for the SSC. Hence, the likelihood or limitation of wet condition is a very important factor for the materials selection with NACE requirement.
All lines and equipment should be evaluated the severity of wet sour corrosion from each process data. Here is a simple guideline for the materials in wet sour environment of refinery plants. The applied concept is not much different with MR0175.
[Continuous Operation] NACE MR0103 may be applicable unless ;
- the dew point is at least 15-25 deg.C less than normal operating temperature or
- the metal surface (internal) is refractory/corrosion resistance alloy lined and
there is no free/condensate water in normal operating condition.
[Intermittent Operation] NACE MR0103 may be applicable unless the metal surface is refractory/corrosion resistance alloy lined or the user’s metallurgist waived the application (from the previous operation history and simulation).
Also, please be aware to confirm the user’s specifications because the MR0103 has only the requirements as a bottom line.
In the NACE standards, the insufficient requirements in NACE MR0103 may be made up by NACE Publication 8X-194.

Meanwhile there are no final products for industrial codes/standards. All of them are continuously going to be updated.
Finally the decision of MR0175 or MR0103 shall be come from the end-user’s or their representative engineers.

한가지 더 추가로 질문을 하고 싶은데요, 사실 위와 같이 질문을 하게된
계기가 "Flare header에 NACE를 적용해야 하는가?"라는 질문에 답하기
위해서 입니다. (Project 적용 code: NACE MR 0103)
제 생각으로는 MR0103에 low pressure에 대한 면제 조항이 없고 아무리
pressure를 갖고 flare header가 운전되더라도 partial pressure가
0.05psia를 넘으면 NACE를 적용해야 된다고 생각합니다. 다만 비운전시에
fuel gas로 purge를 하고 운전 중에 wet이 될 가능성이 낮다고 판단이
되면 NACE를 적용하지 않을 수도 있다고 생각합니다. flare header의
경우 대구경의 line들이므로 경제적인 측면도 무시할 수 없기 때문입니다
그래서 각 unit에서 header로 오는 branch line들만 NACE를 적용하고
Main header는 NACE를 적용하지 않는 방법도 생각해 볼수 있다고
