The symbols may be come from company/client`s standard.
Many companies have the following classes for the material requirements in wet sour service.
NACE Material- class 1 (probably class “N”): SSC (sulfide stress cracking) resistance material
NACE Material- class 2 (probably class “S”): SSC & HIC (hydrogen induced cracking) resistance CS
Your client’s specification for detail requirements (very important) should be confirmed. See check list below.

- NACE MR0175 or MR0103*
- NACE Publication 8X194 (Yes or No)
- NACE or EEMUA
