열교환기에서 Tube Side란 정확히 어디를 말하는 것 인가요?
Tube를 통과하는 유체가 흐르는 부분을 모두 Tube Side라고 칭하는 줄 알았는데 어떤 분들은 Channel이 Tube Side가 아니라고 하여 혼돈이 생겼습니다.
Channel을 통과한 유체가 Tube로 유입되기 때문에 Channel도 Tube Side에 속한다고 생각했었는데 Channel은 Shell Side에 속하나요?

I believe you have a confusion to apply the service section. We have two points to design the shell and tube type heat exchanger as below.
1. Process (including thermal rating) and Corrosion Point of View
; The channel should be a part of tube side. In addition, the channel as floating head section should be considered to contact with both services.
2. Mechanical Design and Fabrication Point of View
; The channel shall be considered as the same geometry with the shell can for the strength calculation and fabrication (Welding/PWHT/NDE/Test) in ASME or Other Pressure Vessel Codes.

이는 질문하신 분께서 인식하는 것과 같은 개념입니다.
다만, 재질 선정에 있어서 Shell과 Tube, Channel을 다르게 쓸 경우가 있기에 그런 경우에는 구분해서 표기하는 경우는 있습니다.
하지만, 근본적으로 Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger라고 부르는 것 처럼 Shell과 Tube로 구분하는 것이 타당합니다.
Channel이 Shell로 구분된다는 얘기는 좀 문제가 있는 발상과 인식이되겠습니다
