ding과 bulge에 대해 정확한 의미를 알고 싶습니다.

ding : a local depression pushing ID sufrace inward. Dings may result from handling of tubes or bending tools not precisely adjusted.

bulge : a local increase in the inner diameter of the tube. Bulges may be a result of the tube processing.

제가 보고 있는 책에 나와 있는 정의 있니다. bulge의 경우 어느 정도 이해가 되는데,
ding은 handling 할 때 생길 수 있는 것이라고 하는데 ID surface가 inward로 생기는 것이라고 하는데 이게 가능한 말일까요??
