안녕하세요, 문의사항이 있어서 질문 올립니다.

ASME Code 에서는 Tube의 Required Thickness를 아래와 같이 계산합니다.

Required Thickness : tr = P x Ro / (SE + 0.4P)

여기서 P는 Design Pressure인데,
S/T Heat Exchanger의 경우 외압과 내압이 존재하는데,
어떤 값을 넣어야 하는지 문의를 드립니다.

You have to calculate two times for internal pressure and external pressure.
The design pressure should be maximum differential pressure under the worst case. The vacuum conditions should be considered if there are.

Here is a sample calculation.
